Champion 77 McKay Industrial Stitcher | Artifact Bag Co. - Blog
As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently purchased seven machines from a building that had been sold and had to be cleared of its contents. This 77 Champion was in the basement and I could not resist making an offer. It seems to be there, but the insulation is peeling the power cord and it smokes when plugged in. It will be a fun project to clean and operational. The Champion 77 was originally designed for soles in footwear fashion, but I see other applications in the manufacture of bags.I'll add additional posts that I am making progress with this machine. In the meantime, if you use / have used this machine let me know what you think of this - it's strengths and limitations. Thank you!
