Golf outing raises $1.1 million for kids
Through the 26th annual C&S Charity Golf Outing, Tee Up for Kids, Keene-based C&S Wholesale Grocers raised $1.1 million for organizations helping children battling cancer and nonprofit groups addressing childhood hunger and nutrition.
This year, the event expanded to include Jennifer’s Gift of Hope to its list of recipients. Its other recipients include Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, The Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Feeding America and Share Our Strength.
